S.L.A.M Basketball Camp
Posted May 13th, 2008 by williamWant a great way to bring someone to know Christ? Do you find yourself bored during the summer? Looking for a way to improve your basketball skills? SLAM (Salem Lutheran Athletic Ministry) will be hosting a boys’ and girls’ basketball camp for students entering grades 5 to 8. Girls’ camp will run from 8:45am to 12pm, and Boy’s camp will run from 12:45pm to 4pm. Pick up a brochure in the narthex.
Teen/Contemporary Service

On May 17th, Salem teens will get the opportunity to play or sing a musical piece, read scripture, and usher as part of the contemporary worship service. Senior High Retreat at Beacon Shores
Posted February 27th, 2008 by jliesenerOn Friday, April 4th we will be heading to the beautiful Beacon Shores Resort in Cross Lake, MN. There we will spend two days building friendships, strengthening our faith, and enjoying God’s wonderful creation. This is one event you do not want to miss. The 25 dollar cost includes transportation, housing, and food. We will return Sunday, April 6th to Salem by 4 p.m. This event is open to the first 10 students that sign up by Sunday, March 16th. Live Your Faith Activity!

Roller Skating/Rollerblading at Fun Zone in Woodbury
Posted February 27th, 2008 by jliesenerGot roller skills to pay the roller bills? Bring a friend and come out to the Fun Zone in Woodbury on Saturday, March 29th. We will meet at 1 p.m. for four hours of skating fun. The five dollar cost includes rollerskate rental. If you would like to rent rollerblades, it is two dollars extra. You can bring your own skates if you would like. The event will end at 5 p.m. Please arrange for your parents to pick you up at the Fun Zone by five.
